☕ Tea Break Thoughts
Hi friend,
Just a little tea break moment from my corner of the world. Things have been busy, messy, magical — all at once. So here I am, cup in hand, taking a deep breath and pausing with you. I thought I’d share three small things that brought a bit of comfort and joy lately, in case you needed a soft moment too.
🍓 One: Strawberries & Stillness
It’s the season for sweet fruit and slower mornings. I had a handful of strawberries the other day while sitting in the sun, and for a moment, everything felt still — no pressure to do or fix or be anything else. Just that one bite and the warmth on my skin. Pure peace.
🎨 Two: Soft Colours on Paper
Lately I’ve been working on some illustrations that feel like little daydreams — quiet skies, gentle florals, a little robin or two. There’s something healing about soft brushes and slow lines. Sometimes the page tells me what it wants, and I just follow.
🫖 Three: A Cup That Waited for Me
There’s a comfort in having a favourite mug that somehow makes tea taste better. Mine has waited patiently for me through long days and busy thoughts. That first sip? Like a hug in porcelain. (Bonus joy: when someone else makes it for you.)
No big lessons here. Just a quiet reminder that the small things do count — and maybe today you get to be soft, too.
Sending love,
Ayesha & a little wave from Robbie
